Description
Σκουφούνια, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από μάλλινα νήματα, καμωμένων από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες με τις κούτσες, καλτσοβελόνες, με τεχνική κάλτσα και λάστιχο (στο άνοιγμα). Αποτελούνται από ένα ενιαίο φύλλο. Η πατούσα έχει μήκος 24εκ. και φάρδος 10εκ. Λίγο πριν το τέλος της κάλτσας, στο πίσω μέρος, ξεκινά ο κορμός της έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζεται η φτέρνα. Ο κορμός, που σταματά λίγο κάτω από το γόνατο, έχει σταθερό πλάτος, ίσο με αυτό της πατούσας. Στο άνοιγμα κάθε κάλτσας υπάρχει πλεχτό κορδόνι για να στερεώνεται η κάλτσα στη γάμπα. Το μαύρο κάμπο των καλτσών διακοσμούν οριζόντιες ρίγες από ευθείες και καγκελωτές (τεθλασμένες) γραμμές. Οι τελευταίες τέμνονται ανά δύο με οριζόντιο άξονα συμμετρίας έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζονται επάλληλοι ρόμβοι. Τα χρώματα που χρησιμοποιούνται
για τις ρίγες είναι τα βυσσινί, υποκίτρινο και πράσινο.
