Description
Ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από μάλλινα νήματα, καμωμένων με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος με τεχνική κάλτσα και λάστιχο (άνοιγμα). Αποτελούνται από ένα ενιαίο φύλλο. Η πατούσα έχει μήκος 25εκ. και φάρδος 10εκ. Λίγο πριν το τέλος της κάλτσας, στο πίσω μέρος, ξεκινά ο κορμός της έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζεται η φτέρνα. Ο κορμός, αρχικού πλάτους όσο και η πατούσα, σταδιακά φαρδαίνει και φτάνει τα 15εκ. λίγο κάτω από το γόνατο. Συνήθως, στο άνοιγμα κάθε κάλτσας υπάρχει λεπτό, μάλλινο κορδόνι, για να στερεώνεται η κάλτσα στη γάμπα (πλέον, δε σώζονται παρά μόνο υπολείμματα αυτών). Οι κάλτσες είναι υπόλευκες, διακοσμημένες με πλουμιά (σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα) χρωματιστά στην εσωτερική και εξωτερική πλευρά του αστραγάλου ενωμένα με φούξια μπορντούρα. Ψιλό κέντημα με διπλή σταυροβελονιά από
κίτρινη μεταξοκλωστή διακρίνεται στα πλουμιά και τη μπορντούρα.
