Description
Τσ'ράπια ή τσοράπια, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από υπόλευκα, μάλλινα νήματα, καμωμένων με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος. Αποτελούνται από ένα ενιαίο φύλλο. Η πατούσα έχει μήκος 22εκ. και φάρδος 12εκ. Λίγο πριν το τέλος της κάλτσας, στο πίσω μέρος, ξεκινά ο κορμός της έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζεται η φτέρνα. Ο κορμός, αρχικού πλάτους όσο και η πατούσα, σταδιακά φαρδαίνει ελαφρώς λίγο κάτω από το γόνατο. Στο άνοιγμα κάθε κάλτσας υπάρχει λεπτό, πλεχτό κορδόνι για να στερεώνεται η κάλτσα στη γάμπα. Η διακόσμηση τους οφείλεται στον τρόπο πλέξης και περιορίζεται στον κορμό τους. Έτσι, διακρίνονται κατακόρυφες ταινίες διακοσμημένες με τεθλασμένες γραμμές (τρυτή πλέξη).
