Description
Ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από μάλλινα και βαμβακερά νήματα, καμωμένων με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος με τεχνική κάλτσα και λάστιχο (στο άνοιγμα). Αποτελούνται από ένα ενιαίο φύλλο. Η πατούσα έχει μήκος 21εκ. και φάρδος 10εκ. Λίγο πριν το τέλος της κάλτσας, στο πίσω μέρος, ξεκινά ο κορμός της έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζεται η φτέρνα. Ο κορμός, αρχικού πλάτους όσο και η πατούσα, σταδιακά φαρδαίνει και φτάνει τα 12εκ. λίγο κάτω από το γόνατο. Συνήθως, στο άνοιγμα κάθε κάλτσας υπάρχει λεπτό, μάλλινο κορδόνι, για να στερεώνεται η κάλτσα στη γάμπα (πλέον, δε σώζονται παρά υπολείμματα αυτών). Είναι πλεγμένες με νήματα σε υπόλευκους τόνους, σκούρους, μάλλινους, στο άνω τμήμα του κορμού και στο κάτω τμήμα του ποδιού (κου ντε πιε) και πιο ανοιχτούς,
βαμβακερούς, στο κυρίως σώμα της κάλτσας. Πρόκειται για "επίσημη υπόδυση εσωτερικού χώρου" καθώς είναι διακοσμημένες μόνο στη φτέρνα με μυτόφτερα, μαύρα τρίγωνα, και πλουμιά, μπορντούρες χρωματιστές.
