Description
Πόρπατς, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από μάλλινα νήματα, καμωμένων με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος με τεχνική κάλτσα. Αποτελούνται από ένα ενιαίο φύλλο. Η πατούσα έχει μήκος 24εκ. και φάρδος 11εκ. Λίγο πριν το τέλος της κάλτσας, στο πίσω μέρος, ξεκινά ο κορμός της έτσι, ώστε να σχηματίζεται η φτέρνα. Ο κορμός, αρχικού πλάτους όσο και η πατούσα, σταδιακά φαρδαίνει και φτάνει τα 19εκ. λίγο κάτω από το γόνατο. Στο άνοιγμα κάθε κάλτσας υπάρχει μάλλινο πλεχτό κορδόνι για να στερεώνονται στο πόδι. Με νήματα σε χρώματα μαύρο, μπλε και βυσσινί αλλά και με αργυρόνημα δημιουργούνται οριζόντιες ρίγες που διακοσμούν τις κάλτσες. Τέλος, ρίγες κατά τριάδες δημιουργούνται και με χρυσοκλωστή επίρραπτη στο μαλλί.
