Description
Φέσι με παπάζι, κόκκινο τσόχινο φέσι με μακρύ και πολυποίκιλο στέλεχος που καταλήγει σε μακριά μπλε μεταξωτή φούντα. Αποτελεί κεφαλοκάλυμμα της γυναικείας αστικής φορεσιάς της Πελοποννήσου και των Αθηνών, γνωστής ως "Αμαλία". Πρόκειται για τη φορεσιά που διαδόθηκε μετά το 1835 από τη βασίλισσα Αμαλία και καθιερώθηκε ως εθνική ενδυμασία. Το φέσι φορέθηκε με πολλούς τρόπους, κυρίως όμως σπαστό. Το μακρύ στέλεχος είναι καμωμένο από χρυσογάιτανα και τιρ-τιρ πλεγμένα ως μια χοντρή κοτσίδα. Φέρει κόμπους από χρυσοκλωστή.
