Description
Μαλαμοκαπνισμένο μπελετζίκι, βραχιόλι σφυρήλατο με έκτυπο και διάτρητο διάκοσμο. Στα σφυρήλατα κοσμήματα οι τεχνίτες ανοίγουν φύλλο το ασήμι στο αμόνι με το σφυρί και στη συνέχεια του δίνουν την επιθυμητή φόρμα χρησιμοποιώντας το σφυρί. Ο διάκοσμος του βραχιολιού στηρίζεται στη σύνθεση σχηματοποιημένων ανθικών μοτίβων που εναλλάσσονται με ρομβόσχημα, γεμισμένα με μαύρο σαβάτι. Στο σημείο ένωσης του βραχιολιού και στο κούμπωμα, ανθρωπόμορφες παραστάσεις, επίσης γεμισμένες με μαύρο σαβάτι. (Το σαβάτι είναι ένα ξεχωριστό είδος σμάλτου, ιδιαίτερα αγαπητό, που απαντάται σε πολλές ομάδες κοσμημάτων. Το φτιάχνουν σύμφωνα με τη βυζαντινή παράδοση του νιέλο, λιώνοντας το ασήμι, χαλκό, μολύβι και κερί του θειαφιού και με τη μάζα αυτή γεμίζουν τα σχέδια, που προηγουμένως έχουν χαράξει στην επιφάνεια του μετάλλου.)
