Description
Βαστάκι, κόσμημα συρματερό φλουροκαπνισμένο, που συναντάται στη γυναικεία καραγκούνικη φορεσιά. Αποτελείται από μια συρματερή πλάκα που στη μέση της έχει προσαρμοσμένη μια κόκκινη γυάλινη πέτρα. Με την καθεμιά από τις δύο παράλληλες πλευρές της αριστερά και δεξιά, η πλάκα συνδέεται με βέργα, πέντε αλυσίδες (άλτσια) που καταλήγουν σε συρματερές κόπτσες με μορφή πουλιού, τις λεγόμενες περιστέρες. Οι περιστέρες έχουν προσαρμοσμένες στη ράχη τους πράσινες γυάλινες πέτρες, ενώ στη θέση του ράμφους φέρουν μικρό γαντζάκι (δουλάκι), για να συγκρατούν μ' αυτό τις παρυφές του ανοιχτού ενδύματος (φουστάνι, σαγιά). Συνήθως στα βαστάκια που προορίζονται για νεαρές ηλικίες υπάρχει κρεμασμένο κάτω από την πλάκα ένα λιλί, απομίμηση τούρκικου νομίσματος, ενώ από τις κάτω αλυσίδες, αριστερά και δεξιά της πλάκας κρέμονται σταχάκια, σπειροειδή κρεμασίδια.
