Description
Ζωνάρι, σπονδυλωτή ασημένια ασημένια ζώνη με εγχάρακτο διάκοσμο. Αποτελεί χαρακτηριστικό εξάρτημα της γυναικείας φορεσιάς των Πετρωτών. Συναντάται επίσης και ως εξάρτημα στη γυναικεία αμφίεση της Κεσσάνης (Ανατολική Θράκη) και των Βλάχων της Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας. Η σπονδυλωτή ζώνη, αποτελείται από μία σειρά πλάκες (σπονδύλους) περασμένες σε ριγωτό βαμβακερό ύφασμα. Ο διάκοσμος των πλακών είναι σχηματοποιημένος φυτικός και ανθικός.
