Jewelry inspired by the traditional "Karsaniko" embroidery

Handmade creations from “Elixriso”, made from steel, embroidered fabric and decorative elements. Inspired by traditional works of art from Karya village in Lefkada.

The “Karsaniko” embroidery, or embroidery from Lefkada, is a special kind of embroidery art, fine and delicate, which was registered in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Index in 2019. This special embroidery was an inspiration by Maria Stavraka (or koutsochero), which later evolved further by the women of Karya village in Lefkada.
