The "lucky charm" of Lykeion ton Ellinidon for 2025, the "Chrysalis"

The Lykeion ton Ellinidon’s 2025 "lucky charm" is inspired by the silk fabric of the costume of Soufli.

It is a medallion, mimicking the sleeve finish of the Soufli Caftan, which was crafted from silk fabric and adorned with decorative lace detailing around the hem, known as "Charbalatzoudia". The design was based on the Soufli Kaftan of the Costume Museum of Lykeion ton Ellinidon collection under Accession Number 5341.
