The Lykeion ton Ellinidon is the only women’s organisation which formed a network across several cities abroad and, of course, across Greece, and continues to maintain a close connection with its regional branches.

The first Lykeion abroad was only founded in 1952, despite efforts in that direction since the 1930s. The greatest expansion occurred in the three years from 1991 to 1993, with nine Bureaus founded in cities outside Greece.
