Description
Πισκίρι ή κάρπα, τετράγωνο, δίφυλλο, βαμβακερό μαντίλι, εξάρτημα του γυναικείου κεφαλοκαλύμματος. Διπλώνεται σχεδόν τριγωνικά και διευθετείται στο κεφάλι, όπου στερεώνεται στο ύψος του μετώπου με την άκρη (κεντητή ταινία). Υφαίνεται και κεντιέται από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες. Είναι διακοσμημένο στις δύο πλευρές με πυκνό κέντημα από βελονιές ανεβατή, ρίζα και βυζαντινή με μεταξωτές κλωστές σε χρώματα κεραμιδί, βερικοκί, βιολετί, κίτρινο, πράσινο και μπλε και αργυρόνημα. Δημιουργείται συνεχής ταινία από επιμέρους γεωμετρικά μοτίβα, με συμπληρωματικές πλευρές που εφάπτονται. Στις παρυφές της ταινίας υπάρχει λωρίδα από κοφτό κέντημα χειρός, αζούρ, και τέλος το γαρνίρισμα από βιολετί φεστόνι. Στη γωνία, η σύνθεση των γεωμετρικών μοτίβων αναπτύσσεται τετραγωνικά και τις ελεύθερες πλευρές του τετραγώνου κοσμούν τρία σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα με επίσης τετραγωνική βάση. Τέλος,
η γωνία του πισκιριού απολήγει σε μεταξωτή φουντίτσα από τις κλωστές του κεντήματος.
