Description
Ζεύγος μανικιών, εξάρτημα της ενδυμασίας τα νυφ'κάτα την οποία φορούν οι Βυσσιώτισσες και μετά το γάμο σε εξαιρετικές περιστάσεις. Είναι από λευκό, βαμβακερό ύφασμα με μανσέτα από λευκό συνθετικό ύφασμα στο τελείωμα. Η μανσέτα είναι κεντημένη με βελονιά ψαροκόκαλο με μπλε βαμβακερή κλωστή και έχει επίρραπτη δαντέλα με φυλλόσχημες απολήξεις, καμωμένη με το βελονάκι με λευκή βαμβακερή κλωστή.

It was bought in Thessaloniki (at the same place where women from Vyssa go even to this day to buy them) from Nelli Mellidou Kefala, director of the Folklife and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia and Thrace, for the needs of the exhibition Traditional Costumes of Thrace at the Museum of History of the Greek Costume, Lyceum Club of Greek Women (2002).
