Description
Τραχηλιά, λευκό βαμβακερό επιστήθιο, εξάρτημα της ενδυμασίας τα νυφ'κάτα την οποία φορούν οι Βυσσιώτισσες και μετά το γάμο σε εξαιρετικές περιστάσεις. Αποτελείται από ένα μονοκόμματο τμήμα υφάσματος, ορθογώνιο, διπλωμένο στα δυο λίγο πάνω από το κέντρο. Στο μέσον έχει κυκλικό άνοιγμα που καταλήγει στο κατακόρυφο άνοιγμα του στέρνου. Στο άνοιγμα του λαιμού φέρει επίρραπτη δαντέλα με φυλλόσχημες απολήξεις, καμωμένη με λεπτή βαμβακερή κλωστή με το βελονάκι. Το άνοιγμα αυτό είναι ολόγυρα γαρνιρισμένο με βελονιά ψαροκόκαλο καμωμένη με μπλε βαμβακερή κλωστή και κλείνει με υπόλευκο κουμπί. Στο άνοιγμα του στέρνου φέρει επίρραπτη βαμβακερή κορδέλα με γαλάζιο πλαίσιο και φούξια και γαλάζιες βούλες πάνω στο λευκό κάμπο.

It was bought in Thessaloniki (at the same place where women from Vyssa go even to this day to buy them) from Nelli Mellidou Kefala, director of the Folklife and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia and Thrace, for the needs of the exhibition Traditional Costumes of Thrace at the Museum of History of the Greek Costume, Lyceum Club of Greek Women (2002).
