The Calendar includes works of prominent artists, from the Munich School painters to Theophilos and Tsarouhis, on the subject of the Greek costume. 

The works of art belong to the National Gallery- Alexandros Soutsos Museum, the Greek Parliament Art Collection, the National Historical Museum, the Benaki Museum Collection of Paintings, Drawings and Prints, the A.G. Leventis Foundation, the E. Koutlidis Foundation, the Folklore Museum of Larissa, the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa-G.I. Katsigras Museum, the Averof Art Gallery, the Patra Municipal Cultural Development Corporation, the Art Gallery of Komotini as well as from private collections.

The publication is prefaced by Marina Lambraki-Plaka, Professor of the History of Art.
