The material of the Historical Archive of the Lykeion ton Ellinidon (LtE) dates back to the year of its foundation in 1911 and comprises:

• The LtE Correspondence (from 1911 on)
• Minutes of the Administrative Council and of the General Assemblies
• Clippings from the Athenian and the provincial press, concerning activities of the LtE and its Annexes (Argos tou Typou Agency) since 1926
• Letters of soldiers from the Albanian front addressed to members of the LtE (December 1940-March 1941)
• President Chryssoula Kallia’s Archive
• Archives of Sections of the LtE
• LtE’s Financial Archive (accounting books, earnings and expenses lists, receipts and invoices, staff register, transactions with financial institutions, budgets and reports etc.)
• LtE’s printed matter (statutes, records for the sake of accountability, magazines, books, albums, calendars, post cards, programmes of events etc.)
• Index books of members of the LtE since 1920
• Short term material (posters, invitations, receipt blocks etc.)
• Material of the Greek Women’s Union and of the Homekeeping and Trade School (attached to the LtE in 1923)
• The “Hellenia” magazine, a publication of the Collaborating Women’s Associations, based at the LtE headquarters

A considerable number of these documents have already been digitized or are in the process of digitization.
