The calendar covers the wedding and the customs which accompany it in the traditional Greek family.

Wedding costumes and symbols are presented, as well as scenes from the wedding preparations and ceremony, from the performance of the Lykeion ton Ellinidon "Songs and Dances of the Greek Wedding Ritual" at the Herod Atticus Theatre on July 17, 1991.

The edition includes an introduction on the traditional bridal costumes, by the costume and set designer Ioanna Papantoniou, and notes on the traditional wedding, by the folklorist Maria Ioannidou-Barbarigou and the artistic director and teacher of the Lykeion ton Ellinidon Lefteris Drandakis.
