The calendar features the apron, a fundamental part of the traditional Greek woman's costume.

The donation of Euridice's Kostopoulos collection of aprons, by her childern Annie and Yiannis Kostopoulos, prompted the choice of this calendar's theme.

The publication includes an introduction by the costume and set designer Ioanna Papantoniou on the history, the use, the symbolic, magic and ritual character of the apron as well as on its geographical distribution throughout the wider Hellenic space.
