Diary 1995
The calendar's theme are the kerchiefs and scarves, which are an indispensable accessory of the headdress and which complement and adorn the Greek costume.
The material presented consists of kerchiefs woven on hand looms by the women themselves, but also of kerchiefs produced industrially, made of silk or of wool, decorated with embroidery or with printed designs, worn as part of the headdress or around the waist, imported from the East or the West, varying both in the weave and decoration, in their use and provenance.
The introductory text is signed by the Team of the National Archives of the Greek Traditional Costume: Ioanna Papantoniou, Xenia Politou and Vassilis Zidianakis.
