In the calendar are presented divers variations of the man's and woman's costumes of the Sarakatsani, as we encounter them in the areas covered by these nomadic shepherds, in the Peloponnese, in Roumeli, in Thessaly and Epirus, as well as in Northern Greece. 

The calendar's material is complemented by objects from the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation's collection.

The texts, signed by the costume and set designer Ioanna Papantoniou, are from the talk given by her at the Lykeion ton Hellenidon in 1974. They are based on personal research and they provide a complete picture of the individual parts that compose each costume.

The garments and the accessories presented belong to the collections of the Lykeion ton Hellinidon and of the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation.
