The theme of the calendar are the costumes of the island complex of the Northern Sporades, comprising the islands of Skopelos, Skiathos, Alonnissos and Skyros, as well as those of neighboring Trikeri. 

The original material presented derives mostly from the Lykeion ton Hellinidon collection and is complemented by objects and archival photos from the collection of the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation, the private collection of Nikos Tsiblakis and the "Lucy Bratzioti" Editions.

The publication includes texts by Nadia Makha-Bizoumi, Ioanna Papantoniou and Xenia Politou.
