The calendar features the costume variety that characterises the wider area of Thrace.

Along with the costumes of the local populations, representative sartorial forms of the refugees from Eastern Thrace and Eastern Rumelia, of the nomad Sarakatsani "Polites" and of the Pomaks are presented, mostly belonging to the Lykeion ton Hellinidon collection. 

The calendar is enriched by archival photos from the personal Photographic Archives of Nelly Melidou-Kefala, the Folk Life and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia-Thrace and archival photos from the collection of the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation.

The publication is prefaced by a text from the Social Anthropologist Nelly Melidou-Kefala.
