The writer Yiannis Zervas, Professor Emeritus, refers to the recording of six ritual customs in the village Styrfaka in the years 1930-1960. 

The customs no longer exist, what is left are the memories of the people who experienced them.

The chronicling is based on first hand information obtained through interviews.
